More Earthquakes Rumble In Northwestern Oklahoma

A 4.1 magnitude earthquake rattled near Fairview, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 7:36 a.m. Its epicenter was located 18 miles north, northwest of Fairview, and 39 miles east of Woodward.

It was about two miles deep.

At 8:01 a.m., another 3.7 magnitude was recorded 19 miles south of Alva, and 40 miles east of Woodward. It was about three miles deep. 

Late Wednesday night and Thursday morning, multiple earthquakes, including a 4.8 and 4.3 magnitude, were recorded in that area.

At 11:50 p.m. on Friday, a 3.3. magnitude earthquake was recorded 18 miles south of Alva.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
