Suspects Lead Sheriff's Deputy On Chase In Canadian County

A Canadian County Sheriff’s deputy attempted to follow a vehicle with three people inside late Monday night but things didn’t end smoothly.

The deputy knew a suspect was inside w/ outstanding warrants on bogus check charges, but the suspect’s vehicle then took off when they spotted deputy. Following a short chase, the suspect crashed out at Hefner Rd. & Morgan all three people took off on foot.

OKCPD was called in to assist in manhunt w/ K-9’s and Air One. The search was called off after an hour.

All three suspects are still on the run.
