The Thunder (33-13) concludes their New York City tour on Tuesday against the Knicks (22-24) at Madison Square Garden after falling to Brooklyn on Sunday. Here are a few things to know:

1. Knicks getting better

Last season’s clown show is over and the Knicks are on the way up. The addition of rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis along with a handful of competent rotation guys have vaulted New York into the Eastern Conference Playoff race. Coached by former Thunder guard Derek Fisher, New York won in OKC back on Nov. 20, 93-90.

New York will be without all-star Carmelo Anthony tonight due to soreness in his knee.

2. Injuries piling up, but nothing serious

Steven Adams will return tonight after dealing with a sprained elbow, but Andre Roberson is now out three weeks with a sprained knee. You could look at Roberson's injury as a bad thing, but compared to last season’s disproportionate amount of crippling blows, this is nothing. However, don’t expect the already-suspect Thunder defense to get any better without Roberson on the floor.

3. Ready for a thaw

The Thunder arrived in New York just in time for the snowpocalypse. New York City, along with much of the east coast, was buried in snow with well-below-freezing temps. It should get up into the 40s on Tuesday in NYC, which will probably feel like flip flop weather. However, OKC isn’t out of the woods yet. Next stop: Minnesota.
