According to the OHP, Richardson was working several crashes and spin-outs due to freezing fog that caused slick spots. Suddenly, another vehicle crashed into Richardson as he stood by his patrol car.

Thursday morning, OU Medical Center confirmed with News 9 that Richardson has been discharged from the hospital.
