The Oklahoma County District Attorney's office has released the two-hour police interrogation of Daniel Holtzclaw.

This is the video that was shown to the jury in its entirety at the trial.

The police interview itself is just under two hours. And it shows exactly how Holtzclaw responded to each and every question.

At the beginning of the interview you see Daniel Holtzclaw, still in uniform, walk into the small police interrogation room and wait to be questioned. Holtzclaw agreed to speak with the detectives without an attorney present.

Holtzclaw spent the next hour and a half answering questions about a traffic stop that would change his life forever.

That was the June 2014 stop of Jannie Ligons who testified Holtzclaw assaulted her.

Here is an excerpt from the interview:

Davis - “She's saying that you made her lift up her shirt and when she lifted up her shirt she exposed her breasts.”

Holtzclaw - “I asked her is there anything inside your bra and she said no. So I was like OK, and she was like you want me to show you? And I said no.”

Davis - “But could she have been woo-hoo - flashing you? And now you don't want to tell me because you are afraid you are going to get in trouble?”

Holtzclaw- “No no! When I told her no, I said no.”

News 9 spoke with Detective Kim Davis about that interrogation on the eve of Holtzclaw's formal sentencing.

“He was very nice, he was very respectful,” said Davis. “He stuck to his story that he didn't do it.”

But Davis said she didn't believe his account.

“There were some changes in his story that didn't make sense,” recalled Davis. “Caught him in a few lies that when I followed up - and then he would change up on when I went back in to him. But he was sticking hard to his story that he didn't do it.”

In the interrogation, Detective Davis continued to ask Holtzclaw about the allegations, and how his accuser said he forced her to pull her pants down as well. Again, Holtzclaw denied it ever happened.

He admitted he did use a flashlight to search the woman and her car. But time and time again, Holtzclaw said nothing sexual in nature happened during that stop.

Twenty minutes into the interrogation, Holtzclaw was asked to perform a buccal swab test to collect his DNA, which he consented to do.

Two hours into the interview, Holtzclaw was asked to remove his uniform pants so they can be taken for DNA testing.

Through it all, he stayed calm cool and collected.

He was given a dark pair of police issued shorts and a shirt. He was then given his cell phone and he called his girlfriend to tell her he was heading home to tell her what had just happened. He ended the call with “I love you”.
