An elderly man shot and robbed in a Southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood last spring has died. Police say his family deserves closure.
Police say 67-year-old Raul Marque Olivarj was picking up cans on a street close to his home back on April 10, when another man robbed and then shot him, leaving him for dead.
Marquez Olivarj was crippled in the attack.
Police say he died earlier this week, at a nursing facility in Muskogee. And they still need help solving what is now a murder.
“Very vague description,” said Police Spokesman Sgt. Gary Knight. “Not one that is definite enough to put out. There were witnesses that heard a gunshot and then saw a man running from the area.”
