We were just talking about two little boys named after Peyton Manning and it brings to mind one of my favorite Super Bowl commercials tonight.
Several groups of kids singing, each group dressed in a particular Super Bowl winning teams jerseys, and pointing out that nine months after a Super Bowl win winning cities see a rise in births.
And then the slogan "Football is Family."
There were several good spots tonight, no real groaners, I didn't think.
I especially liked the Prius getaway car, the sheep singing Queen in the Honda commercial, and Christopher Walken with the sock puppet in the Kia commercial.
The halftime show was what we've come to expect.
But for me the two highlights of the night, besides a close game, happened before the opening kickoff.
Talk about nostalgic, seeing all of those great Super Bowl MVP's introduced, walking out of the tunnel, several of them limping, it really took me back It is a rare gathering of pro football royalty.
But I have to say Lady Gaga really knocked it out of the park tonight with the national anthem.
Her outfit was respectable, yet still had that Gaga flair, and her voice flawless, true to the anthem while adding her own special stylings.
I think it will become a classic like Whitney Houston's at the Super Bowl 25 years ago.
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
