Missing OKC Boy, 12, Found Safe Near Lake Hefner

Oklahoma City police have safely located a 12-year-old autistic boy, first reported missing in the Lake Hefner area, Monday evening.

The alert went out just after 5 p.m., when investigators told News 9 boy was last seen three or four hours ago on the northwest side of Lake Hefner, around N. MacArthur Blvd. and W. Hefner Rd. That boy was found safe near Britton and MacArthur around 6 p.m. 

The boy is described as being Native American, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighing 85 pounds. He has black curly hair in a ponytail and was wearing gray pants. He has autism. A photo of the child will be released soon.
