Parents Pack Edmond Public Schools Meeting On Redrawing Boundaries

There were a lot of concerned parents at Thursday night’s public hearing, as Edmond Public Schools (EPS) looked at redrawing its boundaries.

Many parents aren't happy about changing their kids' school but EPS says this is about balancing the district.

“There was no consideration given for people’s time in relevance of what schools they’re closest to, and a lot of people are going to be severely put out because of that, unfortunately,” said an Edmond parent, Cary Samara.

Edmond Schools also says no plan is perfect.

A final vote is set for February 22.
