Stillwater police are piecing together information on a shooting Monday in the southeast part of town.
News 9 was told the victim was treated and released, but investigators are still searching for the gunman. Few details have been released about Monday afternoon's shooting, including a suspect description.
“I heard a couple of shots, but I didn't get up to investigate. And I’m not quite sure, I’m like everyone else in the neighborhood I’m just kind of hearing bits and pieces,” a neighbors said.
This man wasn't the only one to hear the gunfire.
Stillwater police said several neighbors living near the home on South Fern Street heard multiple gun shots Monday afternoon.
And not long after the calls came into 911, police say a 35 year-old man showed up at the Stillwater Medical Center emergency room with a gunshot wound.
Neighbors say the shooting happened in the driveway of the home. The people living there didn't want to talk with News 9, but did say the victim was a cousin.
