3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Luther

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Luther, Oklahoma, Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 8:33 a.m. Its epicenter was located six miles north, northeast of Luther, and 17 miles north, northeast of Choctaw.

It was about four miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
