The Oklahoma City Police Department is looking for a man who may be trying to pass himself off as an officer. And they have released a composite sketch on their Facebook page hoping someone recognizes him.

This is concerning for police because this man tried to make contact with a woman who had been shot back in December.

The shooting happened back on the night of December 20, at the Paloma Bar on SW 22nd. Police say a total of three people were injured.

Martin Herrera, 25, was arrested for the crime. Police say he showed up at the bar drunk and when the bartender refused to serve him he left the bar, and then came back later with a gun and started shooting.

Herrera is out of jail on a $50, 000 bond and is facing multiple felony charges.

Now police are releasing this sketch of the man who approached one of the people Herrera injured in the shooting.

“We don't know who he is,” said Msgt. Gary Knight with the Oklahoma City Police Department. “We know his shirt said “police” but he did not identify himself as a police officer. But he was there clearly needing to talk to her about something, which given the situation she's been in, that really made her nervous.”

Police describe the man they are looking for as a white male in his mid to late 20's who stands about 5'11 and has an average build.

Right now all they want to do is identify him and question him.
