Florida senator Marco Rubio announced that he will host a campaign event in Oklahoma City on Friday afternoon.

Rubio, one of the front runners in the race for the Republican nomination for president, will speak at 2 p.m. at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center located at 435 E. California Ave. in downtown OKC.
Rubio finished third in Iowa with 23.1 percent of the vote, fifth in New Hampshire with 10.6 percent of the vote, and second in South Carolina with 22.5 percent.
Fellow candidate Donald Trump will also be in OKC on Friday. Trump is hosting a rally at the Cox Convention Center at 6 p.m. Oklahoma is one of 11 states to hold its primary vote on March 1.
