Dramatic video from an Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) agent’s dash camera shows the agent taking cover after he discovers the suspect is armed. That led to that high speed chase Monday down I-40.

OBN agents were doing a routine drug enforcement on I-40 when they noticed the suspect speeding through a construction zone and pulled him over. That’s when the agent realized the suspect, later identified as Andrew Sawyer out of Florida, had a gun.

“Don’t you reach for it, drop your *** hand right now. Have you lost your mind? ” the agent yelled at the suspect.

The agent repeatedly ordered the suspect to get on the ground but the suspect refused and walks to his car saying he wants to go home. The agent tries to tase the suspect before he gets in his car and takes off.

After an unsuccessful attempt to disable the vehicle, the chase begins down I-40. During the next 22 miles, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) and Canadian County Sheriff's Department joins in as the chase reaches speeds over 110 miles per hour.

Jim Gardner and Sky News 9 HD were overhead as the suspect finally crashes.

The man's dog, who was also in the car, runs off before agents move in to arrest the suspect.

Agents found a couple guns in the suspect's car, including a loaded AR-15.

And after shutting down I-40 El Reno police also found the man's dog.

That dog by the way we're told is fine. That suspect however is not. He's still in the hospital.
