Police are investigating a shooting in northwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.
According to police, at about 7:50 a.m. one person was shot near N.W. 36th and Penn. Officers said someone called 911 to report that he had shot his brother-in-law, who was trying to break into his house. A neighbor then called to report that someone had been shot in a yard.
The victim has been transported to the hospital, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the shooter is being detained for questioning. But he has not been arrested at this time. Police are not actively searching for any other suspects.
