Both democratic candidates are rallying for votes out of state Thursday - Hillary Clinton in South Carolina and Bernie Sanders in Illinois. But the work here in Oklahoma continues, just days before Super Tuesday.

Town halls and voting events are underway as Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton press forward before the primaries.

And after a rally in Tulsa Wednesday night, the senator's supporters hit the streets Thursday to encourage voters to elect the self-proclaimed democratic socialist.

“I’m voting for Bernie because I really want to get money out of politics,” said volunteer Mabruka Yazidi.

Early voting began Thursday and former Oklahoma Gov. David Walters said he cast his ballot for Clinton.

“This isn’t about America not being great and having to make it great again. It’s already great. This is about bringing us all together to make great progress on behalf of the entire country,” Walters said.

President Bill Clinton is set to speak as part of his wife’s campaign in Oklahoma on Saturday.
