Super Tuesday is finally here in Oklahoma, and polls open at 7 a.m.
With over 30,000 new voters, the excitement is evident. The state election board is even comparing Tuesday to a general election.
Oklahoma is one of eleven states taking part in Super Tuesday. Heading into Super Tuesday, the latest polls show Donald Trump leading the GOP field in most states.
Marco Rubio spent part of his Monday in our state with rallies in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Ted Cruz stayed in his home state of Texas.
On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton is expected to collect most of the votes on Tuesday. Some experts say it could make her campaign unstoppable as far as Democrats go.
Former Senator and Oklahoma super-delegate Connie Johnson has thrown her support to Bernie Sanders.
Another has backed Clinton, and two others are undecided. There are enough undecided in Oklahoma to sway the vote in Sanders favor.
