Oklahoma City Public Schools District Hosts Annual Career Fair

The Oklahoma City Public Schools (OKCPS) District will hold a career fair Tuesday afternoon.

The event will take place from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. at John Marshall Enterprise Mid-High School, located at 12201 N. Portland. The district is looking to secure applicants for teaching and support positions before the start of school in August.

"While our teachers are on the front lines working closely with our students, there are counselors, bilingual employees, and mechanics working behind the scenes offering support to our schools," said Janis Perrault, OKCPS Chief of Human Resources. "The Career Fair allows us the opportunity to reach out to educators, accountants and other talented individuals' right here in Oklahoma who might be interested in joining Team OKCPS," added Perrault.

OKCPS is looking to identify applicants for cafeteria, maintenance, bus drivers and ground crews. There are also open teaching positions, specifically in special education that need to be filled before the start of the school year.
