News 9 has learned there will be major developments when the son of a slain Duncan family appears in Stephens County Court, Thursday.
Alan Hruby, 20, is accused of fatally shooting his parents John and Tinker and 17-year-old sister Katherine in October 2014.
Their bodies were found in the kitchen of the family home in the 1200 block of Bent Street.
Authorities claim Hruby later confessed to killing his family to inherit their estate and ensure that he would be the only heir.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty. The case is expected to go to trial in April 2016.
The hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday before District Judge Ken Graham. A press conference will follow the hearing.
