Two teenagers were taken to the hospital after a car accident just north of Walters.
The 17-year-old driver and his 16-year-old passenger were traveling a little more than a mile north of Walters when police say the driver lost control of the vehicle on a gravel road. The 2004 Mazda began to slide then started to roll. While rolling, the vehicle struck a tree and a fence, and the driver was ejected for an unknown distance.
The driver was treated and released from Comanche County Memorial Hospital with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries. The passenger, also taken to Comanche County Memorial, was admitted for observation in good condition with head, trunk, arm and leg injuries.
