Covered Wagon Crash Injures Prague Man

An 83-year-old man was hospitalized after losing control of his covered wagon Wednesday afternoon just a few miles outside of Prague.

According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report, William States was driving his wagon with two horses through a pasture en route to an oil lease. The report says States lost control of the wagon and departed the pasture to the left, traveled across the oil lease and through a barbed-wire fence before coming to a stop.

States was transported to OU Medical Center and admitted in good condition with head and neck injuries.
