Tinker Air Force Base was on lockdown after a chase suspect rammed through a gate at the base, Oklahoma City police said.
About 9 p.m. Saturday, Oklahoma City police officers spotted a stolen vehicle. An officer followed the vehicle to Tinker Air Force Base.
The driver of the stolen vehicle rammed into the gate and drove onto the airfield, police said.
The driver ran away from the vehicle. Law officers, K-9 officers and Air One are searching for the driver in the base, police said.
After several hours, Tinker security said the base was re-opened.
