Police have identified a man who died after being stabbed in Oklahoma City.
According to police, at about 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25, officers responded to an agency assist concerning a stabbing victim at 1008 Spencer Road in Midwest City.
Officers learned that the original scene was located at an apartment complex at 3840 Dunjee Blvd., in Oklahoma City. Witnesses reported that a group fight broke out in the apartment complex and the victim, 38-year-old Gerald Fredrick, was stabbed.
Fredrick was transported by witnesses from the original scene to the location in Midwest City in an attempt to get away from the disturbance and contact police. The victim was transported from Midwest City by EMSA to an area hospital, but was pronounced dead prior to his arrival.
