Some residents in Grant County might have felt the jolt of an earthquake Wednesday morning.
A 3.8 magnitude quake rattled 13 miles south of the town of Medford, or about 79 miles north of the Oklahoma City metro, just before 11 a.m. at a depth of three miles.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this earthquake.
According to the United State Geological Survey (USGS), quakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with earthquakes at magnitudes of 4.0 and higher.
