Police said a man walked into police headquarters the night of Monday, March 28 and told police his home in Northwest Oklahoma City had been broken into. Police said the victim found several of his stolen firearms when he searched an online gun sales site.
Tuesday, that investigation led undercover detectives to a home at Southwest 63rd Street and Douglas Avenue. Police said they seized 38 firearms, a gun safe, and methamphetamine.
Edward Koehl lives a few houses from where the raid occurred. “That’s unbelievable,” he said. “You don’t think things like that would happen in this neighborhood. I thought this was a peaceful neighborhood. Looked like young kids, I don’t know.”
Police said the six people arrested will faces charges ranging from possession of stolen property to possession of meth.
