Woman Stabbed During NW Oklahoma City Burglary Attempt

Police have suspended the search in northwest Oklahoma City for a man who allegedly was involved in a stabbing.

Officers said the man is suspected of stabbing a woman in the neck during a burglary attempt early Saturday.

Police said the suspect tried to break into a home in the 600 block of Northwest 109th Street but was scared off by a barking dog.  A few blocks away, police said the same man broke into another home and attacked a woman, stabbing her before fleeing again.

Police used their helicopter and K-9 officers to search the area near NW 109th and Shartel but did not find the suspect.

There is no word on the victim's condition.
