Police Stress Public Awareness With Bevy Of Events Scheduled Downtown

Lots of activities are happening this week in downtown Oklahoma City; from the Oklahoma City Playoff game on Monday, to the anniversary of the bombing happening on Tuesday, and the arts festival taking place the rest of the week.

Then there is the Run to Remember Marathon taking place this weekend. All these events will be bringing people in from across the country. And as a result police are asking you to be more aware of your surroundings.

There will be an increased police presence downtown, but officers are still asking you to be alert and to report anything suspicious as a precaution and to try to prevent any crimes of opportunity.
