Reports Of Man With Gun Prompt Lock Down At Holdenville Schools

Holdenville Schools were placed on lock down after reports of a man in a dark jacket carrying a rifle and walking around town came in to police.

Authorities began investigating after calls poured in about the alleged incident. Just before noon, Holdenville police said they have a person in custody, but so far have not found a weapon.

Three locals schools remain on a precautionary lockdown while police investigate. No other information has been released at this time.

Holdenville, Okla. is a small town located in Hughes County.
