A 3.6 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Alva, Oklahoma, Thursday afternoon.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 1:32 p.m. Its epicenter was located 17 miles south of Alva, and 40 miles east, northeast of Woodward.
It was about four miles deep.
No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
