Spring Gnocchi With Creamy Pasta Sauce
1 package gnocchi, cooked according to package
1/4 cup pesto sauce
1/2 cup fresh spring peas
1 pound asparagus, trimmed
1 cup whipping cream
In a large skillet over medium heat, saute the peas and asparagus in pesto sauce till warm. Slowly stir in the whipping cream and stir till combined and then add in the warm gnocchi and cook for a few minutes tossing gently. Serve with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
