Silver Alert Issued For Missing Bryan County Man

A silver alert has been issued for a missing Bryan County man who suffers from Alzheimer's.

The Bryan County Sheriff's Office issued the alert for 76-year-old OC Beshirs, described as a white man wearing a white shirt and black jeans. Beshirs is 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds with a dark complexion, silver hair and a small beard.

Beshirs went missing from the 500 block of N. 2nd St. in Achille around 8:30 p.m. Monday night.

Police say that Beshirs is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death. He is on foot and may be trying to get to Texas.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Beshirs is encouraged to contact authorities.
