A Tornado Watch has been issued for 40 counties in western and central Oklahoma. The National Weather has deemed this a "Particularly Dangerous Situation".
The primary threats include several tornadoes, widespread large hail and scattered, very large hail events to four inches in diameter expected. Widespread damaging winds likely with isolated significant gusts to 80 miles per hour.
Storms are expected in Oklahoma City between 6 and 9 p.m. this evening before moving into eastern Oklahoma.
