Quick Lift Cinnamon Rolls with Meso Swirl
1 package Puff Pastry, defrosted
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
One stick of unsalted butter room temperature
1/2 cup chopped pecans
One container cream cheese frosting
Optional food coloring gel
Preheat oven to 400° in line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans. Roll out one sheet of parchment paper and brush with softened butter. Press gently on the sugar and then roll up. Place seam side down. Cut into six equal pieces and set cut side down on a baking sheet and cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown. To create the "swirl" effect with the frosting: using a plastic disposable piping bag place a line on the inside of gel in any color you choose then spoon in the prepared to frosting. Snip the end and squeeze onto the warm cinnamon rolls.
