A man is out of the hospital and in the Oklahoma County jail after leading authorities on a high-speed chase.
Miraculously we are told he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The chase began when the man took off after he would not stop for a routine traffic stop at S.W. 27th and Hudson. Speeds reached more than 100 MPH. An Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Trooper tried to use stop sticks and a tactical maneuver to force him to spin out, but it did not work.
The suspect crashed into a tree on N.E. 10th Street near OU Medical Center.
Troopers pulled the suspect out of the truck after it caught fire. EMSA transported the man to the hospital. He has not been identified.
