Officials at Webster Middle School are looking into an incident involving social media and naked pictures of a school employee.

Oklahoma City police began looking into Webster Middle School last week, but said they are no longer investigating the case.

“It was an employee of the school system that alerted the police this happened,” Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Multiple pictures were shared by students on Facebook featured an inappropriately posed employee.

“It had to do with nudity, one of the pictures was of a nude person,” Knight said.

The photos prompted Webster Middle School principal Joe Slate to encourage parents to discuss with their children proper online behavior and responsible technology use.

Sources told News 9, the teacher didn’t know he was sending the pictures to students.

Police said they have determined a crime was not committed.

According to school officials, the employee involved is on paid administrative leave.
