Northwest Expressway Reopens After May Avenue Bridge Collapse

All lanes of Northwest Expressway have reopened at May Avenue, an Oklahoma City spokeswoman said.

Traffic had been diverted in both directions since Thursday when the May Avenue bridge collapsed after a large vehicle crashed into it.

May Avenue will be closed at Northwest Expressway until the repairs to the bridge can be made.

Traffic on May Avenue is being directed to use alternate routes, including NW 63rd and NW 50th streets.
