Boy, 4, Drowns At Turner Falls

A 4-year-old boy drowned at the Turner Falls Park. 

According to Davis police, just before 6 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the report of a missing child at the Turner Falls Park. The boy was last seen at the Blue Hole swimming area at the park.

Life guards found the child in the area of the diving board and south sidewalk and stairs. He was transported to Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, and later taken to Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.

On Tuesday, Davis police confirmed that the child was later pronounced dead.

The family was visiting Turner Falls Park for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend.
