I wasn't disappointed by the Thunder in the playoffs, I was disappointed for them. A trophy couldn't make me appreciate this team any more than I already do. They've brought so many positive changes to our city and state, to how the rest of the world sees us.
I wanted them get the title for them. That was part of my message Tuesday night to the players, here's what you had to say about it:
Kenna first, "That was so well said and EXACTLY how I feel. They are more than just a team to us and I hope we are more than just fans to them."
Justin from Choctaw writes, "I wish we could have a Thunder appreciation night at Thunderdome, so we could cheer these boys on one more time."
From Jennifer, "Your 2 cents brought tears of pride to my eyes. We love our Thunder!"
And Sally from Edmond adds, "Couldn't agree more! Felt so disappointed for them. I feel toward them like as if they were my grandsons!"
From Konawa, Linda writes, "I told my husband during one of last week’s games that winning the championship wasn't going to change my life for the better or the worse... but I wanted a Thunder win for THEM, the TEAM!"
Finally, Carol says, "Normally never agree w u Kelly, but I have to say u said exactly how we all feel!"
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's Your 2 Cents.
