Cheryl Reynolds, a customer at Whittaker’s Grocery Store in NW Oklahoma City, was shopping last week when she noticed she was being followed by two young men.

Reynolds uses a walker to get around and makes her frequents trips to Whittaker’s from her home at Grace Assisted Living Center.  While leaving the store she was approached by two men who starting asking for direction and ended up demanding for her purse.

“He got mad at me and he said ‘Let go of the purse.’ And he took me and just slammed me around.”

Police said the same two young men were seen in surveillance video moments before Reynolds was robbed.

Reynolds said she thought she was being cautious when she wrapped her purse around her walker. She didn’t suffer any serious injuries, but was taken to the hospital.  With no arrest yet she said she is frightened but not broken.
