OKC's RiverSport Rapids To Host Run Series

Oklahoma City’s newest attraction, RiverSport Rapids, will hold a run series this summer beginning Friday, June 10.

According to event organizers, the course starts at RiverSport Rapids and follows an out-and-back pattern along the Oklahoma River running and cycling trails. Registration includes a timed race by Ultramax Sports, access to results immediately after the race, a branded koozie, t-shirt and a complimentary post-race beverage at the Big Water Grill.

The RiverSport Run race series will have a point system for participation and placing. Points can be redeemed for money to spend at the RiverSport Rapids Outfitter’s Shop. 

Participants are encouraged to take a whitewater rafting or tubing trip or enjoy live music at GLOW after their race. 

Registration is $30 per race or $150 for the entire series. In-person registration begins at 6 p.m. Each race begins at 7 p.m. Online registration is available.
