Oklahoma City Police Department is searching for a man they say stabbed a woman multiple times, leaving her to die.
On June 1, News 9 reported 46-year-old John Joe Eustace attacked his girlfriend after she tried to break up with him. The incident happened on May 28.
Police have now issued a warrant for Eustace’s arrest and are asking the community to keep an eye out for him. Police believe he attacked the woman with a knife, stabbed her multiple times, and cut her throat.

Master Sgt. Gary Knight said the woman’s will to live is likely the reason she is alive.
“He left her for dead,” said Knight, “She was able to get on her cell phone and muster up enough strength to call 911.”
Knight said she fought to stay conscious as she directed dispatchers to her location. The woman was left bleeding by the dumpster at Wes 10 Storage in Northwest Oklahoma City.
Eustace has a criminal history in Oklahoma County. Knight said, “We want to get him off the streets before he has a chance to hurt somebody else.”
Anyone who sees Eustace should call 911 immediately.
