The "Summer of Kevin Durant" is alive and well as the OKC superstar has potentially seen his final days in a Thunder uniform since he officially becomes a free agent on July 1. Durant will be courted by multiple teams throughout the NBA with various offers and promises, but they may not be able to offer what Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin put on the table Saturday.

Fallin, who was talking during a question-and-answer session for the Oklahoma Press Association's annual convention, suggested Durant could have a seat in her Cabinet if he does indeed decide to re-sign with the Thunder.
“If Kevin Durant thinks about leaving, which I hope he doesn’t — Oklahoma loves Kevin Durant and Kevin Durant loves Oklahoma. But if he’ll stay, I’ll make him a Cabinet person for health and fitness on my Cabinet,” Fallin said via the Tulsa World.
When addressing OPA, Gov. Mary Fallin said if Kevin Durant chooses to stay in OKC, she will make him a cabinet member for health & fitness

It isn't the most common tactic cities use to lure free agents, but when it comes to recruiting Kevin Durant to stay, apparently nothing is off limits.
