Police arrested the teenage suspect believed to have been involved in three armed robberies in NW OKC earlier this week.
Oklahoma City Police arrested 16-year-old Deante Whittenberg Thursday morning. Whittenberg is believed to be the suspect caught on surveillance camera robbing the Dollar General at NW 36th St. and MacArthur Blvd on Wednesday.
Police credited the public for the swift arrest of Whittenberg.
Authorities say they arrested Whittenberg at a home on the northwest side of the metro. He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on three counts of Robbery with a Firearm and one count of Aggravated Assault and Battery.
