Two Killed In Head-On Crash Near Tecumseh

Two people are dead after a crash Tuesday afternoon near Tecumseh, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The two-vehicle crash happened about 2:30 p.m., more than four south of Tecumseh on U.S. Highway 177. 

Two pickups were driving in opposite directions when one pickup went left of center and hit the oncoming pickup. 

The drivers of the pickups, Brian J. Karnes, 42, of Shawnee, and Billy Joe Hill, 72, of Seminole, died at the scene.
