Two Dead, Three Injured After Crash In Logan Co.

Two people are dead and three others have been hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Logan County. 

The crash happened 3:10 p.m. on State Highway 74 near Seward Road near Guthrie, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said. 

A minivan was traveling southbound on SH 74 when a car traveling northbound over-corrected into the southbound lanes. The vehicles hit each other head-on.

A child in the minivan died at the scene. The 48-year-old driver, Lena Shingleton, of Crescent, and two other children were taken to OU Medical Center. 

The driver of the car, Brian George, 38, of Crescent, died while being taken to the hospital.
