Police Investigate After Gunshot Victim Goes To Hospital

A gunshot victim was admitted into an Oklahoma City hospital, prompting police to investigate the incident, police said Tuesday afternoon.

OU Medical Center notified police that a person went to the hospital's emergency room to receive treatment for a gunshot wound. 

Police said the person was shot in the parking lot of a convenience store at 2800 Martin Luther King Avenue. 

Three people were arguing inside the store and continued to argue in the parking lot. Two people shot at each other and ran away from the scene. One person drove away in a red pickup and another ran away on foot, police said.

The gunshot victim who went to the hospital for treatment does not have life-threatening injuries.
