Many parents take for granted the toys their kids are playing with are safe, but that is apparently not the case.
A consumer watchdog group released its annual list of the most dangerous summer toys and you may be surprised to see what's on there.
The report lists toys guns as the most dangerous toy, because those could lead to eye injuries. Airborne toys rank number two. The group states the flying toy helicopters or planes can cause damage when they hit any part of a child's body.
And those hover boards are back on the watch list. The reason, no surprise, several children have fallen off the boards and caused injuries. Also, the boards can potentially burst into flames.
And one item making a splash on the list: kiddie pools. Even shallow pools can be a drowning risk for small kids.
Trampolines, Scooters, and bounce houses all made the list.
The report also cites that more than 2.5 million children are injured in toy accidents each summer.
