3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Major County

Residents near Fairview felt a jolt after an earthquake struck Thursday evening.

The 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded around 5:25 p.m. Its epicenter was located 17 miles northwest of Fairview, 37 miles east of Woodward, and 45 miles west of Enid.

It was about three miles deep.

At this time, no one has reported any damages or injuries associated with this earthquake.
