Stillwater Fireworks Show Postponed Until Tuesday

The City of Stillwater has decided to postpone its Independence Day fireworks show until Tuesday due to rain. 

According to city organizers, Boomer Lake Park is too wet to park vehicles on the grass.

Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit back and enjoy the free fireworks show, free inflatables and food truck vendors. Parking lots open at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and the show will start at 9:35 p.m.

The annual Family Fishing Tournament will take place as scheduled on Monday. The tournament starts at 6 a.m. Monday. Registration is at 5:30 a.m. and costs $15 per team. Teams consist of up to four family members.
