Kevin Durant is not who we thought he was.
He's a good guy, but his decision to leave and take the easy road to a championship shows me he's more of a follower than a leader.
Here's what you had to say about My 2 Cents:
Benny from Moore first, "Wow Kelly really laid the smack down with that one!"
Renita writes, "Way to go Kelly. A very respectful response with out losing the underlying feeling of betrayal we all feel."
From Patsy, "Come on!! He's played his heart out for nine years!!! He wants a chance to be on a real winning team."
Chris from Shawnee, "He will soon find out that he made a major mistake. His legacy will forever be tarnished...."
Chris from Chickasha, "He couldn't handle being a leader and choked so he joined the band, a group of stars, the Warriors."
Fair to say Angie didn't like my 2 cents, "This was YOUR time to be a leader and encourage Oklahomans to be adults and wish him well. You instead stirred the pot and essentially lined up with the backwoods classless morons burning his jersey."
Loretta from Woodward, "He had unfinished business here with OKC Thunder. He wanted the ring!!! Why not stay a Thunder player an earn it, finish what you started!!!"
Finally, from Tracey, "If KD's plan to spread his wings and eventually come back 'home' to OKC.. ..all the big crybabies just ruined it."
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
